Nia James Starr
I'm deeply interested in community design. I am an in-house graphic designer and art director for a 269-year-old landmarked parish in lower Manhattan, NYC. I am charged with guiding the creative direction of this historic place, overseeing its branding to maintain its legacy and bringing it into the new age. That being said, I have active interests in history, theology, and how design relates to community.
Other interests include floral design, cooking French cuisine, and traveling. I am currently studying the Japanese language and am at Beginner level. I am 1/3 of a 3-woman design studio called Littlejoy NYC where we host women's art retreats in the Hudson Valley, local floral design workshops, and luncheons.
I live in Brooklyn with my best friend (and husband!) named Mackenzie.
