New Materials for a Lenten Season
I refurbished the image I created last year with new colors to sort of brighten up the facade of the church and create something eye catching, memorable, and soothing to the passerby on Park Avenue. As a reminder of our finite existence, Ash Wednesday has this sort of dark tone to it and I wanted to capture it in these watercolored figures that I put together last year to represent a sort of fallen nature of humanity.
These posters were printed on weatherproof vinyl so that they may live outside without fear of wear. The St. Augustine quote is another word of rest for passerby.
